Continuous scores
The profile shows degree and pattern across the 22 answers. It does not place people into severity bands.
Private, research-based self-profile
Answer the 22 questions published by Hsu, Rosenthal, and Bailey. You will receive a visual profile of your overall score and five subscales, alongside descriptive reference values from the original study.
Important boundary
This questionnaire describes patterns in your answers. It does not diagnose autogynephilia, determine your gender identity, assess gender dysphoria, or tell you whether to pursue any treatment or transition pathway.
General Autogynephilia Scale
Scoring happens entirely in your browser. This tool does not submit, save, or transmit your answers, and it does not use browser storage. You can stop or reset at any time.
What the comparison means
The paper compared 149 men recruited from AGP-themed Internet forums with 112 heterosexual men recruited through Mechanical Turk who reported never cross-dressing. Neither group was a representative population sample.
The profile shows degree and pattern across the 22 answers. It does not place people into severity bands.
The authors described most analyses as exploratory and recommended replication.
A questionnaire score cannot determine identity, wellbeing, dysphoria, relationships, or the right life path.
